COVID-19 Safety Precautions for MAU Vegas

Health + Safety Plan

The safety and well-being of those visiting our show are extremely important to us and we want everyone to have a productive and safe business experience as we dive back into live events. As always, we appreciate your patience and flexibility as we work through the ever-changing guidelines and recommendations.

MAU Vegas 2022 will be a fully vaccinated event
All attendees must be fully vaccinated (US & International vaccinations permitted), or we will provide exceptions requiring a negative test result within 72 hours of arrival (PCR or rapid test permitted). We have partnered with CLEAR, a Health Pass that verifies your US vaccination card and/or links to your negative test. We will offer alternative options for international travelers and/or those unable to use the CLEAR Health Pass. Details will be shared leading up to the event.

We’re looking forward to being back together, face-to-face in Las Vegas however, with cases back on the rise and uncertainty over variants, we believe the best course of action to provide a safe and productive experience for all is to ask that all in attendance be vaccinated.

Additional Safety Information

Masks – Effective July 30, 2021, the State of Nevada mandates that everyone, including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings. Temporary removal of the face covering is allowed when eating or drinking.

Social Distancing – While we don’t have formal social distancing requirements, we encourage common sense and have planned the show layout with this in mind.

Mitigations – Being in proximity to others is both beneficial and unavoidable. We will design as many mitigations as possible.

For more information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions below. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the team at

Please Note: Our requirements currently exceed those of the CDC and the State of Nevada. If at any point, the CDC requirements exceed our policy, we will increase our policy to at least match the minimum requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will face masks be required?
Currently, the state of Nevada has a mask mandate, requiring all guests, vaccinated and unvaccinated, wear masks indoors. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
  • Are there alternative options to using Clear?
If a participant would prefer not to use Clear or has an alternative test or vaccination than those recognized by Clear, you will physically show your negative test result or vaccination onsite. Rapid test results are accepted (including self-tests).
  • Which vaccines are accepted?
We will accept all WHO approved vaccines through manual attestation. The Clear app recognizes Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
  • What is considered fully vaccinated?
Per the CDC, individuals are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after their second dose of multi-dose vaccines and 14 days after the single-dose vaccines. At this time, a booster is not required to attend. All others must show proof of a negative test result.
  • Does MAU’s vaccination requirement apply to just sessions?
MAU’s vaccination requirement applies to the entire show – sessions, networking areas, and the expo hall. All attendees must attest to being fully vaccinated before being able to receive their badge. Given such, we ask all attendees to wear their badge at all times when inside the convention center space belonging to MAU Vegas.
  • I have received a positive diagnosis for COVID in the past. Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?
We ask all participants to be vaccinated regardless of past COVID diagnosis. If your medical professional has advised against vaccination we will make reasonable accommodation for entry to MAU. Please email us to request an exemption.
  • Will you be offering COVID-19 tests on site?
MAU is planning to make COVID-19 testing available to customers onsite. More details will be provided closer to the event.
