If we have questions about your registration, our team may reach out for additional information or even a quick call to clarify. If you’re initially approved but further research suggests a different category is more appropriate, we reserve the right to update your registration category.
Every registrant will be thoroughly vetted to ensure proper categorization. All registrants will automatically be issued pending status to ensure complementary passes are extended to qualified participants. Please do not make hotel or flight arrangements until your application for a ticket is approved, within 72 business hours of registering your application.
Here’s how we evaluate:
- Own one app? You likely fall into the First-Party App / Brand, Studio, Government, Non-Profits, Universities, or Association categories.
- Own multiple apps? You’re probably a First-Party Publisher, especially if you list the parent company and not the studio.
- Angel investor working for another company? Register under the qualifications of your primary organization.
- Have clients AND you work for yourself? Register under Independent App Advisor / Consultant / Freelancer.
- Have clients (e.g., Business Development, Sales, Consulting or Client Partnerships) AND you work for a larger organization? Even if your company has an app, you should register as a Solution Provider. Your role indicates you're attending MAU for commercial purposes and your organization would benefit by becoming a sponsor.
