Nic Weber

Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder , Noise

My entire career has centered around large scale marketing efforts. 2013-2015 I was part of a company where we popularized viral content slideshows on Facebook. At one point we were the third most trafficked website in the United States. The company exited for $1B.

After that I went to run product efforts at one of the largest customer experience platforms in the US. We did over 5B impressions on surveys every month. I created a survey and invitation system that was so effective it is still being used 10 years later.

In 2018 I co-founded my first company that was acquired in 2024. It was in the mobile game space and we worked with one of the largest publishers at the time (Voodoo). We transitioned our expertise in that space to build a consumer product that eventually became a "digital Chuck-E-Cheese" called Playbite. We did 2 million downloads to Playbite over the course of 2 years with our cost per install of less than a penny.

During the acquisition of Playbite we created Noise. Within Noise's first year, we crossed multiple millions in revenue, hit profitability in 5 months, drove 2.5B views on short form social media platforms, hit top #10 multiple times in the app store across multiple brands (ourselves included), are above 600k creators and growing daily, and have done thousands of viral videos.

I'll be featured on Superwall's podcast this month. They are interviewing me because I have a really unique insight into the algorithms on each short form content platform. Noise tracks billions of views a month to understand trends, how to manufacture virality, and make content convert for the brands that use the Noise platform. I have deep understanding of exactly why things go viral and how to make it happen for any product. Anyone and anything can and has gone viral. We're the only company building the creator space into a performance marketing tool and we think everyone else is doing it wrong.
