Sam McLellan is a seasoned mobile gaming leader with a track record of spearheading successful product and marketing teams, driving multiple top-grossing free-to-play games that collectively generated over $250M in revenue. 

At Kabam, he developed monetization strategies deployed across key titles and later transitioned to oversee paid marketing for a portfolio of mobile games, most leveraging large IPs. His pivotal role at Zynga involved shaping performance marketing strategies for their foray into hardcore mobile gaming, showcasing the synergy between live operations and performance marketing, earning recognition with Zynga’s Top Talent award. 

Upon relocating to New York in 2016, Sam diversified his expertise beyond the realm of mobile gaming, venturing into the on-demand sector with FlyCleaners and subscription monetization in edTech at Yousician. At the helm of the growth team at Yousician, he oversaw the full growth stack – including ad creative production, user acquisition, and marketing data analytics, contributing to a average annual growth rate of 40% over multiple fiscal years.
The onset of the global pandemic presented an opportunity to return to gaming, this time focusing on AAA titles at Take-Two Interactive. In this capacity, he directed his efforts towards identifying monetization strategies and marketing opportunities across the company's studios, mainly with Rockstar Games and Private Division, with a focus on direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales channels.

Currently serving as CMO at BigBrain Games in New York, Sam leverages his extensive experience in mobile gaming and is overseeing product, growth and monetization for the company.
