What’s new, what’s next, and how we’re growing together

“Ticket to Growth” Edition

I’m thrilled to share updates for MAU Vegas. If you haven’t already, mark the date on your calendar for May 19-21, 2026.

New Campaign & Website Flip

We’ve launched a new campaign: “Ticket to Growth.” It’s more than a tagline—it’s the promise of this year’s event: real strategies, real people, real results. At the same time, we’ve given the MAU website a full refresh. Goodbye chess references and 'make your move'. We’re moving on (get it!) and look forward to introducing new experiences for 2026.

Bookmark mauvegas.com and start the conversation now about who will join you. I keep watching recaps of sessions from the show with leaders like you discussing how working in a silo doesn't work. Start conversations now with your brand, performance, analytics and product peers to head to Vegas together.

Two Online Events for App Founders (Oct 29) and Women in Apps (Nov 7)

RSVP for an App Founders online event this October 29th. App founders can discuss what's working and what's not, the most relevant metrics for a healthy app business, app valuation and what buyers are interested in 2025, and other types of capital (Angel, Venture Capital, Private Equity, UA funding).

On November 7th, RSVP for The Mobile Club's first open-mic, open-camera Women in Apps discussion! I'm excited to join Nancy Roberts (10 years exp in App Marketing, President at CRAFTSMAN+ and Founder of Women in Leader(sip) and Evelyn Herrera, Founder of The Mobile Club & EHVM Capital. To keep the high level of engagement and actually get to know each other, we'll limit the event space to 55 attendees.

We'll highlight events throughout the year using the new Hangouts page on our website powered by Luma.

Playback Videos

We finally got wise and realized we're better off sharing! We’re turning every session into bite-sized, 2-minute topic clips that capture the best insights. We’re dropping new videos every week! Catch them on our website. Here are just a few topics we’ve covered so far.....

Updated Hours & Agenda Highlights Quick heads up! A few timing updates to make travel and scheduling easier 2026. Sponsors...we hear you. Registration will open a day earlier on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday, we’re introducing Kickoff Summits (more soon — shoutout to Steve P. Young, Hannah Parvaz , and Alex Sherer for early conversations to bring these to MAU). This year we’ll open the Expo Hall a day earlier on Tuesday at 2 PM. Worried you don’t have enough time? We’re opening the expo hall earlier on Wednesday and Thursday too.

Call for Speakers Opening Soon MAU will open its call for speakers the week of November 10th. We are seeking the best and the brightest in mobile audience and app growth strategies. And if I may take a moment....we are committed to diversity and representation...so ladies, please take the leap to apply to speak so everyone's voices can be amplified.

That’s a Wrap

Thanks for being part of the MAU community. If you’d like to get a better understanding of who attends, check out this page on our website for a breakdown of who comes, and company lists.

Hot Tip "Seasonal Events": How is it the end of October already? If you haven't already started your seasonal event, drop everything, grab the team and discuss your strategy this week. You have to be ahead of the season or you're already too late according to the MAU full-length session we're hosting on YouTube through the end of the year, "Turn Seasonal Events into Growth" led by Anthony Asuncion. Remember the early bird sponsor deadline is Nov 7.

Hot Take: By now the ChatGPT announcement of launching apps is old news. But the conversations surrounding this topic are just getting started. Stay tuned as we, like the entire MAU community, delve into what this means. And in case you somehow missed the announcement, here are a few links to stories on Entrepreneur.com, Tom's Guide and OpenAI.

Feel free to DM me with any questions or thoughts or, even better, comment with your seasonal event hot tip or thoughts on the Hot Take.

Happy Fall!
