MAU is a curated event designed to foster meaningful, peer-level conversations across the mobile and growth ecosystem. To protect the integrity of that experience, we maintain a strict registration vetting policy for all attendees.
Protecting the Attendee Experience
Our goal is to ensure that attendees are surrounded by relevant peers—not mismatched audiences or unexpected sales pitches. Accurate badge categorization helps create environments where founders, marketers, operators, and solution providers can engage in productive, high-value conversations.
What This Means for You
Our intent is not to be restrictive, but to be transparent, fair, and consistent—so every attendee gets the experience they expect and deserve. If you’re unsure which badge category applies to you, we encourage you to contact the MAU team prior to registering. We’re happy to help.
If we have questions about your registration, our team may reach out for additional information or even a quick call to clarify. If you’re initially approved but further research suggests a different category is more appropriate, we reserve the right to update your registration category.
Misrepresenting your business type and/or badge category requires additional verification and backend corrections by the MAU team. If a misrepresentation is identified, MAU reserves the right to apply an administrative fee to cover the additional review and processing.
If a registration is determined to be inaccurately categorized, MAU reserves the right to:
- Reassign the participant to the appropriate badge category, and
- Apply an administrative review fee of up to $199 to account for the additional verification and processing required.
Every registrant will be thoroughly vetted to ensure proper categorization. Returning attendees who apply with the same email address and select the same badge category they were previously approved under will be automatically approved. All other registrants will automatically be issued pending status to ensure complementary passes are extended to qualified participants. Please do not make hotel or flight arrangements until your application for a ticket is approved, within 72 business hours of registering your application.
