MAU on the Road: From San Fran to Vegas — Agenda Live, What’s New, and What’s Next

MAU on the Road: From San Fran to Vegas — Agenda Live, What’s New, and What’s Next

Last week I had the opportunity to represent MAU Vegas at the AppsFlyer MAMA event.

The time spent reinforced something — this industry is evolving quickly, and modern app practitioners are looking for better answers, not just more information.

So, let’s give the people what they want…the MAU Vegas Agenda Is Now Live!

This is the result of months of work from a behind the scenes teams after careful review of hundreds of submissions. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time. It’s important to know this is just the beginning.

The agenda will continue to grow over the coming weeks as new speakers and sessions are confirmed. Our goal is simple: Every session should answer a real question that practitioners are dealing with today.

We want you to leave MAU with ideas you can implement — not just inspiration.

What’s New at MAU Vegas — and Why

Each year we evolve MAU based on feedback from the community. The goal isn’t change for the sake of change — it’s improvement based on what attendees tell us they need.

Here are some of the biggest developments for this year.

Expo Hall Opens on Tuesday at 2pm

This is the first time MAU will open its doors on Tuesday. Why? Because 80% of badges were picked up by this time last year. Again, give the people what they want. Attendees wanted to jumpstart their MAU experience a day early, so we decided to make it happen.

New, Notable Hours can be found on our 2026 agenda.

More Interactive Formats

One of the strongest signals we’ve seen over the past few years is that this community wants more opportunities to engage — not just listen.

The best insights often come from conversations between attendees, not just speakers. We’re designing more opportunities for those conversations to happen in our new Braindate Lounge. Details are coming over the next few weeks, but we can promise this is a gamechanger.

Programs Built Around Roles

MAU attendees come from different parts of the mobile app ecosystem — and their needs are different.

Instead of trying to make every session relevant to everyone, we’re continuing to organize experiences around job roles and responsibilities.

You can check out our full lineup of unique experiences here.

We have Meetups (this year combined with tasting experiences) that bring like-minded individuals together. Leading the way are meetups on

Growth marketing - Business strategy – AI – Monetization – UA strategy – Influencer and Creator – Product Management – App Dev and Design – Gaming

And our new Kickoff Summits now have more details.

Who should attend the Growth Roadmap Kickoff Summit

  • Early-stage app founders who have launched (or are about to) and want real traction — not just downloads.
  • Growth-focused builders stuck between “we have users” and “we have revenue.”
  • Indie hackers & bootstrappers who want profitability, not vanity metrics.
  • Marketing leads & product teams trying to figure out which growth lever matters right now.
  • Founders tired of chasing tactics — and ready for a stage-by-stage roadmap that compounds.

Who should attend the How Giants Scale Kickoff Summit

This summit is for leaders scaling real revenue in competitive categories.

If you are responsible for building systems that compound, not just campaigns that convert, this is your room. Ideal attendees include:

  • Founders and CEOs scaling beyond $10M and feeling distribution pressure
  • VPs / Heads of Growth hitting creative or CPA ceilings
  • CMOs and Performance Leaders managing significant paid budgets
  • Product leaders owning onboarding, activation, and monetization
  • Growth operators responsible for retention, ARPU, and LTV
  • Data and strategy leaders accountable for signal, attribution, and executive alignment

Who should attend two & a half gamers Gaming Kickoff Summit

This event is designed for senior decision-makers and hands-on leaders in mobile games who are actively scaling, optimizing, or transforming live products. Ideal attendees include:

  • Heads & Directors of User Acquisition, Marketing, Growth, Ad Monetization
  • Creative Directors and Creative Strategy Leads
  • Founders, CEOs, COOs, Studio GMs
  • Senior UA Managers and Performance Marketers with budget ownership
  • Product Managers & Live-Ops leaders focused on retention and monetization
  • Marketing leaders managing live or legacy games (5–10+ years old)

Continued Focus on Founders

Founders and startup teams play an increasingly important role in the MAU ecosystem.

This year we’re continuing to build experiences specifically designed for founders. Launched last year, Founders House, supported by EHVM Apps Capital, continues to be the home for Founders looking for other Founders to have those special conversations that deliver an AHA moment.

Founders bring innovation into the MAU community, and we want to continue supporting that ecosystem.

A Program That Keeps Evolving

One thing that makes MAU unique is that we don’t treat the agenda as static.

We continue adding sessions based on:

  • Industry developments
  • Community feedback
  • New technologies
  • Emerging trends
  • Conversations happening right now

If you're watching the agenda evolve over the coming weeks, that’s intentional. MAU is built to reflect the current state of the industry — not what mattered six months ago.

A Quick Note on MAMA

If we connected at MAMA — it was great meeting you.

Those conversations help shape MAU more than people realize. The ideas, challenges, and questions shared there directly influence the sessions and experiences we build.

Events like MAMA remind me how collaborative the mobile growth community really is — and MAU is designed to extend those conversations on a much larger scale.

Thank you to AppsFlyer for the invitation. It was a great day, and great opportunity to meet so many wonderful people.
